Citizenship: In order to meet Federal and State requirements to possess a firearm, you must be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National or Legal Permanent Resident.

License Requirement: Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license (Type 3).

Age Requirement: All candidates for employment as a Police Officer I shall be at least 20 years of age.

Educational Background: A high school diploma or equivalent is needed, demonstrating a foundation of knowledge and commitment to personal development.

Criminal Record: Free of felony convictions or specific misdemeanors.
